Almost all villages have a primary school  and most sub-districts ( tambon ) have a school providing education from age 6 through 14 .All districts amphoe have secondary schools of age 12 through 17 . Within amphoe BanDung There are 71 elementary schools, 5 secondary schools and 6 private schools . The Secondary school in Ban Dung itself is Wittaya school.

 

 

 

 

 

Two  of the private schools are Christian School where most of the ex-pats send their children to and ione s located behind the hospital & the other is in the Village of Phon Sung.  It is for this reason that some ex-pats have re-located into Ban Dung from outlying areas.
