Rain

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 23/01/2010 by Andrew23/01/2010

We have now had 3 days of Rain. I have spent the last two days cutting down the weeds again down on the farm. Today I have been attempting to subtitle some of my films.

Busy day

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 27/12/2009 by Andrew27/12/2009

Went for a Bike ride to Sang Khom in the morning going out the long way, Took some pictures of Sang khom and some other villages for my web site and to upload to Google earth. On the way back many people were planting 3 month rice in the surrounding wetlands. This is a second crop of rice that you can grow in 3 months between the main crop. The only criteria is thay you need water to grow it. Most areas can not grow it until the rains come again.

In the afternoon there was a big parade through Ban Dung, this was put on by goverment employees, so there were floats from the police, schools etc. As well as the compulsory Thai Dancing groups.

Also from where I was standing there were 3 new buildings being built and I passed more on the way to the main street. Ban Dung seems to be a town on the up with the road widening and more buisinesses  moving int the town.

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 20/12/2009 by Andrew20/12/2009

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 04/09/2009 by Andrew04/09/2009

Finished as far as I can eddies web site – eddiesbar.bandunglife.net. Also fixed his web cam eddies-bar.dyn-o-saur.com:8080 – Only works in i.e . Also Set up an experimental shop site .

Web Site Migration

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 01/08/2009 by Andrew01/08/2009

I have moved my website to a different hosting company and it now looks that the annoying pop-ups have stopped. I have also refined the themes available. The best are the ones with two side bars and drop down menus. ( ZodiacEmporium,Carrington and Hostingconsortium . However I quite like Aspire and Zinwave. In addition personnel posts are now not visble unless you are logged  in to the site.

Web Site Rewrite

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 18/07/2009 by Andrew18/07/2009

After major issues with unsolicited pop ups my website re-write is complete along with the two themes I have written. As I hoped there is more flexibility with using word press and the pages are far easier to write. The only downside is that I will have to ensure the web site is backed up to my PC at suitable intervals.
