Cycling

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 18/11/2023 by Andrew18/11/2023

There are lots  of red dirt  roads and Tracks around the area. I know most tracks within a 60k radius of Ban Dung. Hardly Mountain Biking in the literal sense but certainly off road biking . Be careful to carry enough water or some money to buy some at the many village shops. At first the road layouts are confusing as every village you come to the main road seems to take you direct to the local Temple or appears to end.  After a little while you realise that the road suddenly detours around  and carries on.

Fishing

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 18/11/2023 by Andrew18/11/2023

Fishing is allowed in the Rivers but beware of fishing in the resevoirs the local villagers  tend to think that these are their own personal property and do not like strangers taking “their” fish. Thais do not fish as a sport only for eating and don’t understand that we sometimes fish just for fun.
