Went clearing the weeds again today. There were many sensitive plants – when touched the leaves close up quickly . In Thai there name is maiyarab .
Also sure some of the “nok bet” that live around the lake. As far as I can identify they are Javan Pond Herons.
Have decided to refocus my website from myself to bandung. Therfore Bandung has now become the home page and things about myself,home etc have been moved under the about me Tab. Hopefully this will make the site more interesting and usefull to those that stumble acroos it. In future weeks,months I will add more content about Bandung and what life is like here and what there is to do along with the local economic aspects of life here.
Went to farm number 2 to clear some more weeds. However very hot today so gave up after a couple of hours. However I saw the Kingfisher again that I saw last year and I thought had probably been killed by poachers
Also saw a Large Snakehead ( Fish) in the lake – at least a couple of feet long – The largest I have seen.
Finished fertilising the remaining 1000 rubber trees today. There were six of us working so we finished around 1.00pm. Had a few bags left over . It will be next year before we fertilise again – before the start of the hot season.

Started to paint the outside of the house. Over 50% finished. Have changed the colour scheme slightly to cream instead of white
Finished painting the house today. Next month will do the inside and the garden wall again at the front.
Went to Udon shopping. Bought a new ADSL modem – for the past two weeks I have had no Broadband connection due to my previous modem breaking. Also bought some paint for the outside of the house.
