Tim Had decided to open up some Trees on Plots 1 & 2. However I have since told her to stop. I want to wait until next month to make it more economically viable when there will be more trees of sufficient size to cut.

Had a day riding about to Take some more Photographs for uploading to Google earth & hence my website. On the way some people were burning the Rice stubble making it impossible to see the road.
My First destination was the Golden Chedi not Far from Kham Chanot but very rarely visited by Tourist or Locals alike. I also wanted to find out what it was called.
Its called Dontaan which as far as i can work out translates to Pagonda on a Hill.I also passed some of the Mysterious green dishes and this time took a photograph so I could ask Tim what they are used for as every village has one.

Apparently they are used to make fertiliser and are provided free by the Government. However I have never seen them in use and Tim informed me at the most they are used only once a year.
Finally I made a detour to call in at plantation number one to see how it was progressing and if it needed weeding ( Which it didn’t) . These Trees are now nearly Seven years old and a good percentage are big enough to tap.
However I want to wait another year and then maybe enough trees on Plantation number 2 will be mature enough as well.
Initial work has been started on constructing a house near the lake. It is a replacement for the house in Pho Phan but will be smaller. Although it has not been built yet Tim has already got a blue book for it. Address 141,Ban Non Prasoet,Bandung. The next step is to get electricity laid to the site.
The following Gallery will continue to be added to as work continues

We have just spent the last two days fertilising the Rice fields and the mature Rubber trees in Pho Phan

This is what we used an mixture of Phosphate & Nitrate fertiliser
Fertilised the trees again today in Plantation number two for the second time this year. The weather was very hot and at 1.0 o’clock I returned home after starting at 8.00am. When I left there were only another 8 rows to do. The workers were taking their siesta.
Today we finished fertilising the rubber trees on plantation number one. That is all the trees done until the autumn when we will do them again. next on the agenda is sewing the rice paddies which we will start next month. On another note the rains are increasing in frequency with another storm yesterday afternoon which lasted into the evening.
Went to fertilise the trees on Plantation number one. This year they are going to get fertilised twice in the hope they will be ready for cutting next year. This will double our production .
