Clearing weeds

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 13/12/2009 by Andrew13/12/2009

Have spent the past 5-6 days worging cutting down the weeds on the farms again

Every where is now cleared and hopefully should last a few months before it needs cutting again.

However having trouble at the moment with people trying to steal our vegetables and fish on farm number two where the lake is. They have also be setting snares which they said was for catching foxes. We now have somebody staying there most of the time.

Vientiane

BANDUNGLIFE Posted on 25/11/2009 by Andrew25/11/2009

Went to Vientiane and stayed overnight . Went to 2-3 temples but on the whole very disappointing . Saw none of the colonial style french buildings that I had expected.

This is the main temple complet ( That Luang) Also went to the fruit and Veg market in the morning. It was total chaos and dirty. Nothing like the Thai markets which are spotless in comparison.
